Landscape Projects assisted the building’s architect in the detailed design and sourcing of plant material for this large winter garden in the penthouse suite of Beetham Tower, Manchester; the tallest building in Manchester.
Numerous constraints had to be considered to ensure the garden’s success including plant suitability, construction access and the micro-climate. The design consists of five garden spaces with a Mediterranean planting theme including a grove of mature Italian olive trees, evergreen oak and lemon trees. There is also a reflecting pool set amongst the mature trees.
